After both teams suffered disappointment last season both teams will be looking to start the new season off right with the win. Both teams have reasons to be concerned going into tonight's match.

Fenerbahçe has concerns of its own going into tonight's match. It has been a summer full of injuries and many players missed significant playing time in the summer training camps.
Fenerbahçe lost its first two friendly matches in its Belgian training camps. However things are starting to look up for Fenerbahçe. They are coming off of two wins including winning against arch rivals Galatasaray in the ultimate friendly derby. This will be the first real test of new manager Aykut Kocaman. Fenerbahçe is helping to become one of the five teams to qualify for the Champions League through the group stages.
